Opening Day Roaring River State Park –
March 1
Coffee served by Chamber members along the banks of the river
until gun goes off. Prizes for largest trout caught in three
divisions.
Spring & Fall Sidewalk Sale
The first Friday & Saturday in April & September
Merchants around town have sidewalk sale. Great bargains for
everyone.

Kids Fishing Day

Dogwood Car & Truck Festival - May 10
An informal competition and display of 200 vehicles of various
types. Awards include 25 classes, plus dignitary plaques.
Music, games, parade of contestants. Location – Roaring River
State Park. Open to public, no admission fee.

music/variety show produced and staged entirely by local
entertainers. Three performances in the Cassville School
Gymnasium. Advance tickets available. General admission
seating.
Fall Festival/Chili Cook-Off -

Chili Cook-Off and craft booths. Various music is also
performed.
Halloween Around The Square

Cassville’s downtown merchants treat area children to goodies
from their places of business. Great fun for kids and merchants
alike.
Christmas Open House

Area Cassville Merchants kick off the Holiday Season with
special sales.
Christmas Lighting In The City
Park

Scenes and numerous smaller lighting displays along Flat Creek
area of the City Park.
Cassville Christmas Parade
- December 6
One of the
areas only nighttime Christmas Parade. Features beautifully
lighted floats, marching bands, antique vehicles, and drill
teams. Santa brings up the rear in his larger than life sleigh.
