Eagle Viewing Days (January 21, February 18 & December 15): Watch the nostalgic bald eagles roost at Roaring River State Park through spotting scopes.

Roaring River State Park, Opening Day (March 1): Chamber provides complimentary coffee to anglers along the river bank. Whistle blows for the first cast at 6:30 a.m.

Spring Sidewalk Sale (April 13 and 14): Bargains for everyone! Shop Cassville merchants for great deals!

Cassville Cruise In (Second Saturday of the month, April-October): The Cassville Cruisers host an informal cruise in that is open to everyone in the parking lot at the Barry County Museum. Free event, starts at 5 and runs until dusk. Concessions are available, door prizes will be awarded, 50/50 raffle and music.

Earth Day Celebration: (April 21) Celebrate earth day at Roaring River State Park with conservation activities.

Healthy Kids Day (April 28): Cassville YMCA promotes healthy living to kids of all ages by providing games and prizes to those that attend the event.

Dogwood Car & Truck Festival (May 5): Enjoy the beautiful sites of Cassville’s historic downtown square in the spring! An informal competition and display of over a hundred vehicles of various types—fun for the entire family! Open to the public, free admission, live music and concessions.

Chamber Golf Tournament (May 18): Chamber members and guest compete in a friendly game of golf at the Cassville Golf Course. Fun for the entire community! CLICK FOR PRESS RELEASE | CLICK FOR FLYER

Kids Fishing Day at Roaring River State Park (May 19 & August 18): Kids 15 and under can take advantage of free classes and outdoor activities and fish in the upper end of the river free of charge.

Free Fishing Weekend (June 9 & 10): Statewide free fishing opportunity for all! No license or trout tag is required.

Rotary Rodeo (June 15 & 16): Annual Rodeo is held at the Bill Hailey Arena.

Friday Squared (July 13): Live music, shopping, concessions and an outdoor movie on the big screen all around the Cassville square. Event starts at 7:00 p.m. Movie starts at dark, approximately 9:00 p.m. CLICK FOR PRESS RELEASE

Demolition Derby (August): Annual Demolition Derby is held at the Bill Hailey Arena.

Fall Sidewalk Sale (September 7 & 8): Shop Cassville merchants for great deals and high quality products!

Wonders of Wildlife (October 5, 6, & 7): National Outdoor Education & Recreation School will offer informational hands-on classes at Roaring River State Park to those that register in advance.

The Show (October 26, 27, 28): Long standing music variety show featuring HomeTown Sound and the RedHots and other local talent.
Chili & Salsa Cook-Off (October 27): Fall fun for everyone around the historic square. Event offers live music, craft booths, chili and salsa tasting, live entertainment, pet parade, food vendors and more! Booths open at 8:00 a.m.

Wild Area Hike (October 27): Naturalist led hike into the back country of Roaring River hills at Roaring State Park.

Trick-or-Treat around the Square (October 31): Businesses around the square treat area children to goodies from their place of business. Parade starts at 3:30 from the chamber parking lot.

Christmas Open House (November 10): Cassville merchants debut new Christmas items and kick off the Holiday season with special offers.

Christmas Show (November 29 & 30): Enjoy the sounds of HomeTown Sound and the RedHots as they bring in the Holiday season with both traditional and contemporary Holiday tunes!

Evening Christmas Parade (December 1): Enjoy the sights of a night time Christmas parade along Main Street featuring lighted floats, marching bands, antique vehicles and Santa Clause. Parade starts at 6:00 p.m
