Cassville is home to Roaring River State Park. Missouri's most popular camping and trout destination. Operated under the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Roaring River State Park offers several hiking trails and activities that allow you to experience the Ozark outdoors. Just seven miles further a visitor will be able to experience the recreational activities at beautiful Table Rock Lake. 

With an economy based on agriculture, industry and tourism, it's easy to see why Cassville is a great place to live, work and play. A reason in every season, Cassville is a great place to be!

Cassville Gold Course

The Cassville Golf Club is well know for its beautiful bent grass greens and fairways. This 18-hole championship golf course has been listed on Missouri's Top Public Golf Courses list.

 

The Cassville Golf Club has also gained popularity for it's unique ability in catering to all difference golf skill levels. From novice to professional, four separate sets of tees will ensure that the golf course in Cassville remains challenging yet fair to all golfers.

Aquatic Park

The Aquatic Park opens the Saturday preceding Memorial Day in May and closes with the start of the school year in mid August. Open swim hours are 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 1:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

There is over 7,000 square feet of water recreation including three water slides, a spring diving board, zero-depth entry with playground, kiddie pool, shower and locker areas, concession stand and shaded picnic tables and plenty of young chairs for relaxing.

The Aquatic Center is open to the public for a daily gate fee of $5, children age 2 and under are free.

Barry County’s past, present, and future all meet under one roof at the Barry County Museum on South Highway 112, just outside the Cassville city limits.

 

The 16,500 square foot museum sits on a 16 acre site that houses artifacts and exhibits relating to the geographical, agricultural, industrial, educational, and social development of the county.

Fields’ Photo Archives, with its collection of over one million negatives of people, places, and events in Barry County, is also located within the museum building.

Cassville Greenway Trail

 

The Greenway Trail is a scenic 2.9 mile trail maintained by the City of Cassville. The rail was created for residents and visitors of the area for hiking and biking along the city's park system. Enjoy beautiful scenery along the trail and easy access to many of the city's recreational parks, playgrounds and picnic areas.

The trail extends from Rocky Edmondson Park on the northern end of the City's South Aquatic Park and Reenactment Field on the south. The trail follows the gentle flowing waters of Flat Creek.
